In addition to providing a forum for educational activities for professionals, we offer bespoke training programmes for nursing and residential homes, which is listed in our nursing and domiciliary services.
The responsibility of influencing and shaping careers, workforce and individuals through training is not a task we take lightly but one we rise to with enthusiasm and determination. We believe for any clinical setup, a strong team of nurse practitioners are pivotal in ensuring high-quality clinical care. We set up a training programme for overseas nurse education towards the end of 2014, to enable overseas nurses to fulfil the 3 part process of nurse registration in the UK which would enable them to work as Registered nurses in the UK.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) This is a comprehensive test of English language which is the first requirement for a nurse to work in the United Kingdom. This test comprises of 4 parts; comprising of writing, reading, speaking and listening. We have partnered with elite English teachers to provide an enhanced training programme to ensure a better chance of success for each candidate. This course designed and developed according to individual needs and each candidate is advised about the duration of preparation needed for improving their competencies to attain a score of 7 in all parts which is the requirement placed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council ( UK).
Occupational English Test (OET) Since February 2018 there is an alternative English test for doctors and nurses, the Occupational English Test. Unlike the IELTS, it is a test that is specific to the medical sector. And as the bulk of the test is made up of medical language and terminology, the content is considered more relevant for doctors and nurses who are experts in their field to pass.
Nursing and Midwifery Council (CBT training) –We offer a face to face course for a duration of 6 days to train nurses for the Computer Based Test (CBT). We provide the materials and workbook at the course so there is ongoing preparation before appearing for the test. Our experienced practice educators and nurse educators are supported by senior clinicians with varied backgrounds so training is updated in line with current best practices and guidelines.
Nursing and Midwifery Council – (OSCE Training) –NMC Objective Structured Clinical Examination. This exam is designed to ensure that each nurse who wishes to practice in the United Kingdom has to demonstrate their competencies in the clinical situation. This will include a number of stations with clinical scenarios. Our nurse educators will ensure that each station is designed to mock the real OSCE exams and the nurse education team will be supported by Consultants and other senior clinicians so real-life situations are taught to the nurses and they are tested on it before they appear for their exams.
