Neurological Rehabilitation

We provide neurorehabilitation for a wide range of neurological conditions including:

  • Stroke
  • Multiple sclerosis (MS)
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Head injury
  • Motor neurone disease
  • Adults with cerebral palsy
  • Neuropathies (disorders affecting nerves of the peripheral nervous system such as Guillain-Barre Syndrome)
  • Balance problems
  • Vestibular dysfunction/rehabilitation
  • Facial palsy and Bell’s Palsy
  • Peripheral nerve injuries e.g. foot drop.

Because neurological conditions can be long-term and sometimes progressive, we offer patients a review of their condition, at an agreed time point after receiving their first episode of care.

Progressive long term complex conditions will be managed under our complex neuro disability pathways.

Our multidisciplinary team led by Consultants in Rehabilitation Medicine include physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapist and psychologists who are trained in neurological rehabilitation. They collaborate to design an individualised treatment and recovery plan for each patient recovering from a neurological disorder.

Home visits are available on request.
