Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists have expertise in the treatment of musculoskeletal (muscle and joint) conditions. Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy employs advanced clinical assessment and diagnosis methods. Musculoskeletal physiotherapists and have been trained in a broader range of treatment techniques and normally hold a Masters of Physiotherapy qualification.

The  Musculoskeletal programmes are led and overseen  by our Extended Scope Practitioner  Mr Ranjish Kumar and Dr Ravindran ( when required) to ensure the right treatment is followed. We use diagnostic ultrasound and EMG when required to aid physical examination to arrive at  the most accurate diagnosis and then prescribe  treatments to enhance recovery and function. We use a range of treatment methods  which include

  • Electrotherapy ( TENS , IFT, Therapeutic Ultrasound ,  Shockwave therapy)
  • Manipulation and Mobilisation
  • Neurodynamics
